Spaces Designed for Connection, Collaboration and Impact

Cal State Monterey Bay offers a diverse range of event spaces to bring your vision to life — from large conference venues to flexible meeting rooms and vibrant, student-centered gathering spaces. Set along California’s Central Coast, each location combines functionality, natural beauty and thoughtful design to support events of every size and purpose.

Whether planning a campus event, community program or professional conference, these spaces offer the flexibility, support and welcoming environment to create a memorable experience.

Spaces and Rooms

Campus spaces are organized into three categories, each with specific booking processes and guidelines.

Academic spaces are scheduled through 25Live and managed by Academic Scheduling.

  • Food and catering are not permitted
  • Spaces must be used as scheduled, with no special setups
  • If your event includes food, reserve an adjacent event space

Conference rooms are reserved through designated department contacts.

  • Catering is allowed
  • Potlucks may be permitted based on Risk Management review

Conference Room Reservations

Conference rooms are scheduled through 25Live and managed by individual space schedulers, with oversight from University Administration and Campus Events (UACE).

How to Reserve a Room

  • Submit all conference room requests through 25Live
  • Contact the assigned scheduler for questions or additional support

Event spaces and parking lots are reserved through 25Live and managed by University Affairs, Ceremonies and Events.

  • Catering is allowed
  • Custom setups are permitted
  • Potlucks are not allowed

Once your event is approved, an event professional will be assigned to support planning and execution.
