U.S. News & World Report places ºÚÁÏÉçapp among the Best in the West

ºÚÁÏÉçapp has landed on both highly prized lists of college rankings, including in the top decile in key categories.

In the  2022 rankings of U.S. colleges and universities, ºÚÁÏÉçapp ranked #20 among nearly 800 institutions in the metrics of diversity and inclusion among students and faculty.

For the  rankings, among Regional Universities - West (which includes 15 Western states), ºÚÁÏÉçapp scored #25 overall and #9 in Top Public Schools. It ranked #4 in Top Performers on Social Mobility, which measures how much difference a university makes in a person’s socioeconomic status.

The U.S. News rankings, now in its 37th year, assesses 1,466 bachelor’s degree-granting institutions on 17 measures of academic quality. Some of the criteria include retention and graduation rates, Pell Grants, class size and faculty salary, financial resources, and expert opinion.

The Wall Street Journal and Times Higher Education (THE) ranking system combines public datasets and surveys of more than 100,000 students and academics across 1,111 institutions, and ranks almost 800 universities on resources, engagement, outcomes, and environment.

On that list, ºÚÁÏÉçapp placed in the top 50% overall, with high scores in graduation rate, low debt after graduation, student engagement and interaction, and graduate salaries. But it scored among the top 10% in the nation in Environment, measured in faculty and student diversity, student inclusion, and international students.
