    SEASIDE, Ca., January 26, 2020 – California State University, Monterey Bay (ºÚÁÏÉçapp) was ranked #9 amongst like-institutions nationally in a recent Institute of International Education (IIE) Open Doors report for sending students abroad for long-term programs during the 2017-2018 academic year. A long-term duration is categorized as an academic or calendar year.

    SEASIDE, Ca., January 16, 2020 – California State University, Monterey Bay (ºÚÁÏÉçapp) President Eduardo M. Ochoa awarded three employees with the President’s Medal Awards at ºÚÁÏÉçapp’s annual staff and faculty appreciation breakfast today, honoring their service to the university.

    SEASIDE, Ca., December 6, 2019 – ºÚÁÏÉçapp Global Studies major Palia Vang was recently recognized for her high academic achievements and exceptional service provided to auxiliary organizations on campus. Vang works in a variety of roles serving the Otter Student Union (OSU) and Student Housing & Residential Life where her positive and upbeat attitude has impacted thousands of visitors to campus.

    SEASIDE, Ca., December 4, 2019 – First Night Monterey unveiled its 2020 theme, “Light Up the Night!” and artwork for the upcoming New Year’s Eve Celebration at ºÚÁÏÉçapp’s Alumni and Visitor Center today.

    SEASIDE, Ca., December 4, 2019 – The MY Town Pop-up Children’s Museum launched at the ºÚÁÏÉçapp Salinas City Center during the summer of 2019. The exhibition provided a free children’s museum for Salinas and saw nearly 6,000 attendees. It also functioned as a research space for ºÚÁÏÉçapp students.
